Itinerary

• Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu

  Upon your arrival in the Kathmandu, you will be greeted by a representative from our company and transferred to your hotel. After checking in, meet your trekking guide as well as other group members. Your guide will give you an introduction of the trip. Ask questions if you have doubt.

• Day 2: Kathmandu Valley sightseeing & trek preparation

  After breakfast, spend a day travelling around the city and visiting many of its cultural heritages. Travel to the holy temple of Pashupatinath, pay a visit to the world’s biggest stupa at Boudhanath. Visit the Swoyambhunath Temple, one of the oldest religious sites in the valley.

  Proceed to the historic Kathmandu Durbar Square after lunch. Explore the rich architectural heritage of the square, which is also home to Kumari (living goddess). Attend a pre-trip discussion in the evening and met your fellow trekking staff. Have dinner at a local restaurant.

• Day 3: Kathmandu to Syabrubesi

  Start the journey soon after breakfast. Take the highway to the north of the city that twists and climbs over hills along the way. Enjoy some good views of the mountains and the Trishuli Valley en route. Drive past picturesque, rural landscapes and villages. Stay overnight in a local lodge in Syabrubesi.

• Day 4: Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel

  Follow the banks of the Trishuli River after breakfast. Hike uphill for around two hours until you reach the Bamboo Village (1,850m/6,068ft). Stop for lunch. The surrounding forest is rich in wildlife. Look out for the hives of wild bees on the cliffs as you travel. Cross rivers at multiple points. Reach Lama Hotel. Spend your night at the hotel.

• Day 5: Lama Hotel to Langtang village

  Continue your gradual ascend to the Langtang Valley, travelling through rhododendron and pine forests. Reach Ghora Tabela in three hours. Stop there for lunch. Walk for another three hours after lunch across a scenic trail to reach the Langtang Village. Spend your night in the village.

• Day 6: Langtang village to Kyanjin Gompa

  Leave the village after breakfast and head for Kyanjin Gompa (3,870m). Enjoy the view of Ganchempo and Langtang Lirung mountains upon reaching there. You have some free time in the evening to explore the surrounding areas. Visit the yak cheese factory and explore the monastery in Kyanjin Gompa.

• Day 7: Kyanjin Gompa

  You have the day for yourself. Rest, relax and explore the surrounding areas. You have the option of going out on a hike to the surrounding areas and climbing Cherku Ri (4984 meters). You can even walk further up the valley to the glacier at Langshisha Kharka.

• Day 8: Kyanjin Gompa to Lama Hotel

  Retrace your steps back to Lama Hotel. You have plenty of time to stop and take photographs along the way. Walk through the rhododendron and oak forests. Reach Lama Hotel. Spend your night at the hotel.

• Day 9: Lama Hotel to Syabrubesi

  Your trail today passes through bamboo and rhododendron forests en route to Syabrubesi. Spot native wildlife of the area along the route. Enjoy a close-up view of Ganesh Himal. Walk down to the river before climbing up to the village of Syabru.

• Day 10: Drive back to Kathmandu

  Drive back to Kathmandu after breakfast. It takes 6-7 hours to reach the Kathmandu Valley. On arrival in Kathmandu, our guide will transfer you to the hotel. You have the rest of the day for yourself. Carry out your last-minute shopping or explore the city before sitting down for a farewell dinner.

• Day 11: Departure

  We wish you a happy journey and hope to see you back again. Enjoy our drop off service to the airport, from where you will catch your flight back home.
