Expect to be fully immersed in views of peaks, green hills, and pristine forests filled with rhododendrons, and oaks. This trek follows high ridges, providing constant panoramic views of the Annapurna Himalayas and Dhaulagiri to the west. The Manaslu range to the east, and the towering south face of Mt. Machhapuchare (Fish Tail).

This moderate yet adventurous trek minimizes the risk of altitude sickness. Our flexible itinerary allows ample time for acclimatization and enjoying the stunning surroundings. As the trail ascends towards Mardi Himal, nestled beneath the sacred and unclimbed Mt. Machhapuchare, trekkers experience a blend of adventure and serenity.
Journey Details
The trip begins in Kathmandu, the Himalayan capital, followed by a scenic drive to Pokhara—a city renowned for its natural beauty. Here, in particular, the Annapurna Mountains reflect in the tranquil waters of Phewa and Begnas Lakes. Subsequently, from Pokhara, the trek truly begins, leading through high ridges and traditional Gurung villages, where Buddhist culture thrives.
As you ascend into pristine alpine meadows, consequently, the landscape transforms into a colorful paradise. During spring and summer, especially, wildflowers bloom in full, creating a breathtaking scene.
Ultimately, the journey reaches its peak at Mardi Himal West Base Camp (4,500m), the highest point of this adventure. From this vantage point, trekkers enjoy an awe-inspiring panorama of snowcapped peaks and dramatic landscapes. Afterward, the descent leads back to Pokhara, followed by a return drive to Kathmandu.

Additionally, for those seeking alternative treks in the Annapurna region, the Annapurna Base Camp Trek (9 days) is another excellent option.
